Title: Financial Analyst

Reports to: Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Establish monthly forecast and analysis for different product lines and departmental costs highlighting changes, focusing on variations with previous forecasts and prior years, and identifying risks and  opportunities
• Participate in the elaboration of the reporting and analysis of financial and non-financial key performance indicators that is presented to the finance and senior management teams
• Participate in the elaboration of various quarterly analysis
• Participate in the elaboration of the annual budget
• Perform analysis on the performance of strategic investments
• Manage and perform financial model (and various files) improvements
• Develop business relationships with other departments in order to ensure proper flow of                 information

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance
• Professional designation (obtained or in progress) is an asset (CMA, CGA, CA, MBA)
• Relevant working experience (1-4 years)
• Accounting and/or financial analysis experience
• Excellent knowledge of Excel

Qualities/Aptitudes:

• Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English
• Proven accounting, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and commitments
• Autonomous, dynamic, flexible, self-motivated and recognized as a good team player
• Pro-active attitude required, must have a drive for results and excellence
• Ability and engagement to improve continuously all processes established
• Detail oriented with a strategic view
