Title: Financial Analyst Reports to: Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities: - Establish monthly forecast and analysis for different product lines and departmental costs highlighting changes, focusing on variations with previous forecasts and prior years, and identifying risks and opportunities
- Participate in the elaboration of the reporting and analysis of financial and non-financial key performance indicators that is presented to the finance and senior management teams
- Participate in the elaboration of various quarterly analysis
- Participate in the elaboration of the annual budget
- Perform analysis on the performance of strategic investments
- Manage and perform financial model (and various files) improvements
- Develop business relationships with other departments in order to ensure proper flow of information
Education/Experience: - Bachelor in Accounting or Finance
- Professional designation (obtained or in progress) is an asset (CMA, CGA, CA, MBA)
- Relevant working experience (1-4 years)
- Accounting and/or financial analysis experience
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
Qualities/Aptitudes: - Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English
- Proven accounting, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and commitments
- Autonomous, dynamic, flexible, self-motivated and recognized as a good team player
- Pro-active attitude required, must have a drive for results and excellence
- Ability and engagement to improve continuously all processes established
- Detail oriented with a strategic view
