SENIOR AUDITOR

INTERNAL AUDIT DEPARTMENT

PERMANENT POSITION

This position does not involve any traveling except for special events. You report to the director of the internal audit department and responsible for the following :

GENERAL ResponsIbilitIES

• Plan and participate to the different projects dealing with the significant processes and the major accounts to identify and document the internal controls relative to the corporate risks.  
• Evaluate the design of internal controls and guide the managers in the drawing up and the implementation of corrective actions required.  
• Evaluate the results to ensure the implementation of corrective actions required to business processes to ensure an effective and efficient control environment. 
• Identify and evaluate the improvements to be introduced to the business process to ensure an effective and efficient control environments and a sound management of resources.  
• Draw up audit reports and follow up on these.
• Put forward pertinent recommendations offering added value and discuss this with the managers to assist them in the drawing up of their action plan.
• Carry out all other related tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finances or business management 1st cycle and a professional title.
• At least seven (7) years of experience in external or internal auditing.
• Be a member of a professional corporation (CA, CMA, CGA).
• Demonstrate a sharp analytical mind and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, self-reliant, readily able to adapt and show a sound professional judgment.
• Able to handle several projects at the same time.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, a willingness to listen to others and to work effectively with all stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a professional attitude and put into practice high ethics standards.
