    Description:

    Our client presently requires a highly skilled, energetic and enthusiastic senior financial analyst, financial information. This position reports directly to the corporate and is a steppingstone to attaining future career opportunities within the organization. The candidate will demonstrate pertinent skills and competencies with a focus on delivering outstanding business value and excellence in client service.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate and participates in the production of monthly financial statements; consolidated, non-consolidated, subsidiaries and affiliated companies;
    • Prepares different reports and analysis for management on a monthly basis;
    • Coordinate and assists, on a quarterly basis, in the preparation of reports, analysis and various presentations for the Board of Directors;
    • Assists the Corporate Controller in the preparation of management reporting (MD&A);
    • Assists the Corporate Controller in the preparation of all necessary statutory reporting; annual report, press releases, quarterly reports to shareholders;
    • Coordinates and provides supports to the external auditors during the year-end process;
    • Prepares the income tax provisions;
    • Undertakes researches related to the CICA handbook.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • University degree and designation (CA preferred);
    • 2 to 5 years of relevant financial work (experience in a large accounting firm, an asset);
    • Experience in implementing systems and processes;
    • Excellent business acumen and experience in change management;
    • Results oriented, with the ability to rank priorities and deliver key initiatives;
    • Demonstrated integrity and ability to build trust, to work with others at all levels;
    • Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
